Keep the change;

Went for morning tanning since the weather was good. Like finally , the weather looks good. Tann for 3 hours before leaving for home. Was a bad choice to go for tanning before starting work. Cos after tanning, it makes you sleepy and hungry Bought KFC and Mr Bean for lunch. Hah I do know how to enjoys life.

So it was first day of work @ Jewel Box. Cool working place with nice scenery. But aint use to it cos friends not working together with the rest anymore. :/ But still, I've to adapt. Friends aint gg to be with you wherever you go.

What's cool about my current work:
1. I've got a funny mananger, Haznim. A nice change! No more bossy manangers. No more ccb, knn, fu.
2. There is tips (ard $30) usually if it is foreigners :D
3. Easy money there compared to hotel work. You just have to serve and clear plates and stuff, and it is like one or two plate everytime. No need to move tables and chairs. No hard labour.
4. You can eat the food there, openly. No manangers is going to catch you. There would just ask you eat faster and quickly get back to work. Heehee
5. Everybody there are friends ! Cos all are permanent staff. Unlike my previous job, the staff there are always changing. So at least can make come new friends to make time pass faster
6. You can make friend with Xiao Ming. The rat in the pantry. :P Haha i just met him today, giving me a shock of my life. :/
7. Jewel Box give ncie uniform. Seriously nice.

Ended work ard 11pm. Mrt-ed back. Tml working again :D

I thk bcos christmas is coming, there are spraying snow every 45minutes at my work place. And bcos I am up on Mount Faber I can actl see the christmas night lightings and spore tallest christmas tree , darn beautiful. Come visit me alright, bring your family for dinenr or something, the main course cost ard 30bucks for your info, but it is actl worth the price.

Something real satisfying, bcos I am actl working at a restaurant now, I have to take orders. So today I actl had to memerise the menu and how it actl look like. And i manage to memerise most of it, sense of satifaction . Learn many new things, like what is doneness. The waiter will usually ask "What would want your lamb doneness to be?" It just meant would you like the meat to be rare, medium rare etc.

Teach you some stuff, haha, so maybe you can act more intellectual when you go to a restaurant, or cna showoff infront of your friends. Usually when you order beef or lamb. They will ask abt the doneness of the meat. You know you have to reply , rare, medium rare etc. But do you know how many percent cook is rare, medium rare etc. Rare does not really mean really rare, but 10% cook, medium-rare would be 30% cook, Medium 50%, Medium-well 70%, Well-done 90%, Very well-done 100%.

There are many funny replies to the doneness of the meat, just bcos ppl just want to act like they know what is 'doneness' what is 'medium rare' etc.

I thk as young adults we should all know some dining knowledge and also some dining etiquette, what is the do's and dont's of dining. search on the internet.
