It have really been quite awhile.

So it came CNY, and I went back to Malaysia, where my maternal side gathered every year. Cousins ftw. We just spend night eating fried birds, watching fireworks, playing cards. Though it have just been 3/4 short days together, it was definitely a nice time together. Well there is good home-cooked food, great cousins, nice place (kampong), what else can I want more for a CNY.

Another academic semester was just over. So glad, I pulled through, without major hiccups in this 6 months. It have definitely been hell of a semester, being into Architecture, life have been totally 're-structured'. If life wasn't tough, life wouldn't be satisfying.

Within these 6 months I've been taught several drawing elements, it's fun, haha. Spray paint, graphite sketching, water painting, wire sculpturing, plastering, clay modelling. Might not have turn out as aesthetically appealing as it should be though. :P

School was totally packed up this 6 months. Landscape Design classes, History & Theory of Architecture, Design Studio ...  Big credit modules. Some of my works below.

Design brief: A training and living space for a Cirque Du Soliel performer. I got a mime artist. It is a mirror box, with stripped mirror as facade.

Design brief: A monument + A gallery + A living space for a veteran which was disabled due to his previous honorable commitment/duties. "These-abled heroes" I got a military pilot.

My landscape design project. Retrofitting my school current atrium steps. Incoporating sinuous curves into the steps.

There is always an ongoing question about whether I will or should continue on with architecture. At times, I really do considering giving up on what I am doing. I guess this is really something I really love & hate doing. & since I have already made the decision to get into this path I am going to give my best and see what happen next.

& I am really thankful for my parents support in my decisions. The past 2 weeks I have been staying in school and they have been ringing me up and check on me. I have not pick up their calls most of the time though. :/ On some of the days I will just suddenly wish to go home and I will always see food on the table prepared for me.
